Success for Monika Kochanowicz at Composers Summit Prague 2025!
Monika Kochanowicz, composer and member of SPACe, received high praise at this year’s Composers Summit Prague, where she took part in a competition organized by Amazon MGM Studio. The challenge was to create a theme for a TV series opening – rich in contrast, emotion, and suitable for orchestration.
Her piece was recorded by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Monika herself, under the guidance of the legendary Conrad Pope, who praised her music as “perfectly orchestrated.”
– It was an incredible experience, and such words from Conrad Pope stay with you for life – says Monika. She also highlights the role of SPACe, which helped her discover the opportunity in the first place.
