About us
SPACe
The Association of Polish Audiovisual Composers is a creative space and community of professionals involved in film, television and multimedia music.
We work to protect the rights and interests of audiovisual composers, support their development and promote their work in the national and international arenas. We are involved in shaping copyright legislation, organize educational and industry events, and build an environment conducive to cooperation and exchange of experience.

Authorities of the association

Marek Hojda
Board Member
President
Composer, arranger, vocalist, board member of Music Export Poland. In the past, among other things, vice president of ZAiKS, member of the boards of CIAM ExCo and EMEE, and chairman of the Council of Non-Governmental Organizations at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Graduate of the Jazz Department of the Academy of Music in Katowice and Berklee College of Music. He has worked with the bands De Mono, Emigranci, Surzyn Band, as well as with Polish Radio, TVP and many artists. Author of children’s music and producer with an extensive track record in the phonographic industry.

Anna Maria Huszcza
Audit Committee
Chairman
Composer, arranger, doctor of musical arts, chairman of the board of the ZAiKS Serious Music Composers Section. She creates chamber, symphonic, electronic, theater and film music, as well as works for children, often employing non-standard performance techniques.
Her compositions have been performed in Poland and abroad (including Germany, Japan and France). Winner of numerous competitions, she has written works published on more than ten albums, including the Fryderyk Award-winning Saxophone Varie and the monographic album wydziwiAnka.

Lukasz Targosz
Board Member Vice President
One of Poland’s leading film music composers, author of soundtracks to nearly 100 films and series, including major Polish productions and international co-productions. Winner of the 2021 Fryderyk Award for his music for the series Wataha (HBO), twice nominated for the Eagles. His music is characterized by emotional power, sensitivity and expressive narration – from orchestral scores to subtle electronics.

Dominika Czajkowska
Review Committee
Composer and pianist, specializes in film and jazz music. Winner of the Transatlantic Instant Composition Contest (2018) and the Grand Prix Ladies Jazz Festival (2020).
Graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and the H. Majewski Jazz Studies. Her music can be heard in Letters to M 6 and the series St. Anne’s Hospital (TVN), among others. She performs with an original quartet and is working on a new album and audiovisual projects.

Ignacy Zalewski
Board Member Treasurer
Ignacy Zalewski (born 1990 in Lublin) is a composer of classical, film, theater and video game music. A graduate of the UMFC in Warsaw, he also studied with Krzysztof Penderecki. He has scored music for many films, plays and games, collaborating with NETFLIX, TVP and leading Polish theaters, among others. Winner of more than 20 awards, author of 21 albums (three nominated for “Fryderyks”), his works have been performed in Europe, the USA and Asia. Professor at the UMFC, former dean of the Faculty of Composition, member of ZAiKS and ZKP, hosts radio programs and writes columns. In 2023, he published a biography of Stanislaw Moniuszko.

Zuzanna Calka
Review Committee
Susanna – composer and producer of film and original music. In her work she combines the sounds of piano and synthesizers. She has performed at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2025 and the OPIA Festival, among others. Her works have been featured on KEXP radio and on the Piano Day vol. 4 album released by Nils Frahm’s label LEITER. Winner of the first prize at the Transatlantyk Festival, she works with the American Synchronization Agency and Spitfire Audio. She gained experience alongside Mikołaj Stroiński, among others. She hosts an author’s program at RDC.
